Failing my math class
I’m so frustrated right now. I’m supposed to be graduating this year, and math is honestly holding me back. I can’t afford to retake this class. My professor is good at demonstrating on the board, but he moves so quickly when jumping from one unit to another. We meet with him two days a week, and he lectures for 40 minutes each day, jumping to a new unit or subject each day. It would be helpful if he could do a quick 10-minute review before lectures, because I’m forgetting what he taught us before. I’m mixing up the different methods he teaches us. Like Functions and Quadratic Equations. Maybe the class is just too fast-paced for me, and I need to find another professor. It’s not that I don’t understand the material, it’s that I keep forgetting it. I take notes, but I end up flipping back and forth to figure out which method we’re using. That’s a big reason why I failed the test—he taught us so many methods, and I didn’t know which one to use. Everyone looked disappointed when they got their test results, so I thought it was just me that was confused lol."> Hope
